I celebrated another trip around the sun last month - and, as someone now firmly within the middle age & beyond camp - I’ve been thinking a lot about the brevity of life and how to be a faithful steward of the life I’ve been given - right here, right now.

As time continues to pass by, I take comfort in knowing I’m a child of God and find assurance in remembering everything He’s done for me, and all He’s promised is to come. And, as incredible as those things are - there’s even more! But, it’s something I need to be reminded of everyday. The truth is that right here, right now - He’s actively working to transform me to be more like Jesus and, through Jesus, He’s given me everything I need to do what He calls me to do.

So, even though my age may qualify me as “old”, I can faithfully take baby steps everyday, joyfully looking forward to all that God accomplishes in my life and within His kingdom.
